The 2022 CHIPS and Science act provided $6.1 billion to micron to build manufacturing facilities in Idaho and New York
I wonder what one must do/learn to get a job at one of these plants. By 2027 to 2028 many of these factories will be coming online. The market should be rich for these job especially if AI is truly worth the hype.
This is government picking winners with this law but it does lower the bottleneck risk of having all the chips be made in Asia!
