Someone stole my controller, replace it with...?

A couple of days ago I threw a party at my family's house in the countryside, inviting around 35 friends who also invited some of their friends (no complete strangers, they were all people that I talked with at least once, one way or another). We were around 55/60 people in total. The night went well and was a lot of fun, but after recovering from a little hangover, yesterday I discovered that someone opened the drawers of the TV cabinet (in the living room) and stole my 8bitdo Pro 2. I saw quite some people with a backpack the other night, so it's possible that some idiot thought, "why not?".
Besides trying to recover my controller through my friends, I'm in search of a new one for the time being. Which one would you suggest? I kinda like the Pro 2, but in my experience, buttons tend to get pretty loose after a while. I wouldn't mind something a bit more premium. Thoughts?

I don't have any recommendations, because I also like the Pro 2... You could maybe just get Xbox controller, it's more bulky, but it works 🙂

I don't know anything about those controllers, but, moral, never invite so many people to your house, especially if they are not friends or you know their nature.

Mate, let me recap your comment:
  • You didn’t offer any useful info about the main question.
  • You came up with some kind of “life advice” that, quite frankly, I neither need nor want.
It was my choice to throw the party and extend the invitation to +1s. They were all people that I talked to at least once with no red flags whatsoever. Please keep your need to moralize others ‘ decisions or situations to yourself. If you have recommendations for a good replacement controller is much appreciated. Everything else is just noise.

If you write about what happened to you, you risk others giving their opinion about what happened. If you're not interested, it's not my problem either. Take it as you want, I don't care.
On the other hand, I don't have any suggestions for another controller.
