BTC Prague

Thank you to everyone who could make it out to BTC Prague, where we organized the design track on dev/hack/day. Like last year, we turned a hotel conference room into a design lounge and had great talks and conversations around bitcoin. We heard from Ioni Appelbergs how “Bitcoin is Kardashev Type 1 Money”, Erik gave us an intro to Ecash and our first tokens, Paulo discussed what we can learn from the Pix payment system for bitcoin UX, the Lipa team went over their recent redesign efforts, and lots more. Thank you to all presenters, organizers, and everyone who joined.

Community 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Several community members also attended the Oslo Freedom Forum (watch Day 1, Day 2, Financial Freedom Track) to learn about how bitcoin is used for supporting human rights around the world. Make sure to watch Mo’s presentation about designing better tools for activists.

Summer of Bitcoin students have been working in public and moving along with their projects.
