I remember that the Brazilian team had a different style of football, today it has become a disappointment.

Not even close today. They were so fast, exciting, and stylish back then!

Remember as a kid that father watched something in 1990 on black and white TV. :) For myself first big football tournaments I watched were FIFA World Cup 1994 and then Euro 1996.

Yes, Soviet Union. When grandfather bought colour TV, he gave black and white one to my father. Before that we didn't have TV at home at all.

First vivid memories come from Spain 1982. Hungary winning 10-1 to El Salvador. Also a disappointing Spain just failing very early in the tournament.

2002 I believe although I don't think I watched any live. My family from Japan would record it on VHS and then have it sent over for us to watch. It was a long time ago now but I still remember how in awe I was of watching Ronaldo the Fenomeno, and Oliver Kahn.
