I read this great analogy on the web and I liked it. I wanted to share it with you because I'm curious about your thoughts.

You're holding a cup of coffee and someone accidentally bumps into you, causing it to spill everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me."
Wrong answer.
You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. If there had been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.
Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
So, when life shakes you up, whatever is inside you will come out.
It's easy to pretend everything's fine until you're shaken.
So, we have to ask ourselves, "What's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over? Joy? Gratitude? Peace? Humility? Anger? Bitterness? A victim mentality? A tendency to quit?
Rember LIFE gives you the cup; YOU choose what to fill it with.
Did you know that spill the tea means to gossip in Gen Z slang? Haha

Yes the emotional content that makes up our being. If you’re holding a lot of anger that is likely to be triggered in such a situation.
Even more interesting are Carl Jungs thoughts on what he called ‘catalytic exteriorisation’. Essentially it’s the idea that our inner emotional content can affect the outer world physically, not just our perception of it.

The truth is a fairly simple quote... but if we think about it, it is true in life we must know how to choose what to fill ourselves with... and it should always be positive things that encourage us to be and grow as people every day earning 1%. of what we want to be tomorrow and the time to start is now💪

Nice one
If someone bumped into me i might spill some of those defilements. But it might also depend on what mood you're in or what you are thinking about when it happens.
