This makes me wonder all of the "lost bitcoin" is it actually really lost, or just dormant?

I would say the BTC that people have admitted to throwing away (there was a UK guy trying to get permission to dig up a former garbage dump) I’d say is lost. I would also say Satoshi’s isn’t lost but rather isn’t going to ever be touched. Then there are the few people who had their wallets set to more or less self destruct if to many wrong guesses where imputed so those are gone as well…

Interesting. I wonder if Burnchain is still a thing. I was never a fan of the project, but people would send bitcoin to a burn address for the sake of increasing the value. I don't think it took off though (for obvious reasons).

Stuff is waking up.
All the btc wallets that havent moved, everyone thinks they are lost.

I do love seeing long-time dormant wallets wake up... It might rattle the market but I think its really cool to see what people who got in early get rewarded!

Yeah, me too.
They make it seem like 5 years is a long time, and then they call them dormant.
