Your little guy has good taste. I love bacon wrapped scallops.
I know this theme all too well. My daughter always wants to play with whatever toys or games her brother has and most of the time he lets her but once and awhile when she really wants to play with something he will say “no not this time” to remind her who it belongs to.
Many years ago one of my bosses told me a fictitious story. I am not sure where he got it from but I think it is apt in this case. The basic premise is there is an empty parking lot that isn’t being used and the organizer of a farmers market (or something along those lines) wants to use it for his market, so he contacts the owner of the lot and the owner says “sure I am not using it. You can use it every day or the week except Sunday” and the guy says “that’s great but if you aren’t using it at all why can’t we use it Sunday” and the owner replies “you can’t use it Sunday so you remember it’s my parking lot”.

I like that story. In a way, it shows our obsession to personal property. I think it also shows our love to demonstrate power, and sometimes, we do things just because we can.
