The modern lifestyle has been built around the idea to let everything be convenient or “easy”. Take online shopping, for instance. Shopping sitting at home can be called 'lazy' or 'convenient' where lazy makes it sound like a bane.

Yes a lot of things have become convenient as a result of our modern lifestyle. But with the same tools and technologies that make our lifestyle so modern, some people search for “places to go for trekking” or 'order running machine' while some might end up lazily 'ordering food in, to stuff their already bulging bulky bellies with another pizza or Burger.

So, if you have ‘sloth' interests you can find more ways to be lazy and if not, you have many ways of becoming fit and healthy.

So, why not tell everyone which is your preferred way of working out...

I walk but I'm a sloth mostly. I miss yoga when my body hurts.

reply

I play 5 a side or 7 a side footy 2-3 times a week and I try to lift weights 2 times a week, and at least try to go for a walk every day

reply

I do Tai Chi mainly which is great for all round health. However to build my upper body musculature Tai Chi isn’t so good and so for that I like weight training.

For Cardio I walk and I’m slowly getting back into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. 😅

reply

What's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu? 👀

You make a great point here. Tai Chi and such forms of Martial arts are getting popular everywhere around the world now! I've listened it is very difficult. Is it true?

reply

Tai Chi can be difficult yes. It requires a lot of time to become proficient. Still worth learning though.

reply

Thanks!! Will look around if there's someone who can teach me a bit of it.. just basic for curiosity.

reply

I play tennis 2-3 times a week. I love this sport, I've been playing for 15+ years and I keep learning a lot. Besides being great for your body, it also requires a lot of mental strength. So I enjoy it, I have fun, I breath fresh air and I'm outside under the sun, while I train my mind and body.

reply

I do yoga and meditation.

a healthy and balanced diet

reply

Haha! The OP have made your comment irrelevant by editing the title, I think..
That's 10 minutes effect. Btw what in your opinion constitutes a balanced diet? Do you believe in the nutrition theory, calories and more? Think a person with heavy work out schedule often have to consume way more calories... These gym people are like - need to eat more to burn calories or burn calories because they eat more? Seems like a propoganda to me.

reply

I don't think he edited it, I just don't eat at home 🤠

reply

So, you should've gone with 'no workout' option. Why with something else. Do you do something else?

reply

I didn't vote

reply

Haha! I'm laughing at my inability to know but I also didn't vote.

reply

The owner of that domain let the domain name registration expire. There is now a parking page on it (https://archive.ph/YPYwo) with a for sale price of $6500.00 (https://archive.ph/oUvNJ)

I have always liked running, it is truly both a physical and mental therapy, especially if I do it in open places, I run every day sincerely it makes you feel very fulfilled.

I play racket sports (mostly padel), it's a great outdoors activity, and a cool team sport. Also I do calisthenics: mostly pull-ups, dips and, since recently, muscle-ups. Feels good man.

Hikes in the mountains sometimes, cause they're gorgeous

reply

Besides running, I do calisthenics.

Might seem awkward, but running until you feel like throwing up is a really nice feeling. 😅

I have been running for many years. I love being out and about with some music or listening to a podcast. However, last couple of years I have changed my habits to walk-run instead. Just to avoid injuries.
