If $7B was divided equally among every man, woman and child, they'ld get $175 each.

For for a family with four children, that's over $1,000.
That would be life-changing money for many of those families if it were distributed as cash (i.e., for deposit at a bank or mattress money, whatever). I have no idea if that gets run through the NGOs/aid providers how much actually gets to the Afghan recipients of the aid, ... I've read as much as 70% of funds for aid in Afghanistan goes to NGO admin and overhead, leaving just 30% in actual aid delivered.
Was $73B of Afghan aid wasted?

Obviously, I do not like the Taliban.
But this is still scandalous. The reserves were never Afghan - they were always at US grace.
