Meanwhile China has its Belt and Road Intitiative with neighboring Parkistan being one of the main countries with a lot of infrastructure being built up.

If China occupied Afghanistan they would be able to close a hole in their infrastructure, which could be very valuable with Russia being sanctioned by the west. Like ... imagine being the middleman in washing raw materials, industrial/agricultural output and money from the 150m people of russia through the -stan countries??? 😳😳 Also China could so easily defend their actions as doing the same as the US did in Afghanistan. Literally changing world order with a perfect excuse/pretext.
