Dick Schoof, a former spy chief, has been sworn in as the new Prime Minister of the Netherlands, leading a right-wing coalition government with a mission to implement the "strictest-ever" immigration policy in the country. [1] Schoof, a 67-year-old former head of the Dutch Secret Service, has vowed to "decisively" implement the coalition's plans to tighten asylum and migration policies. [1] The new government's 26-page coalition agreement, titled "Hope, courage and pride", also calls for examining the idea of moving the Dutch embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. [1] Schoof has said he aims to be "a prime minister for all Dutch citizens", but he will face the challenge of keeping the shaky coalition partners on track and managing potential conflicts with the influential far-right leader Geert Wilders. I'm interested to see how this would work without first leaving the EU 🤔
reply
Exactly, the main problem lies in the loss of sovereignty of European states acting under the draconian dictates of the EU.

I am very skeptical after the experience with Georgia Melonio and Salvini in Italy.
reply
Meloni has done almost nothing of what she said she was going to do, especially in terms of migration, a disgrace.
reply
Oh, thanks for zaps forward!
At least I hope that Schoof does fulfill what he says since most right-wing governments have lately spoken more than acted here in Europe.
