Presidential debates are a quirky aspect of modern American politics, with actors repeating lines they don’t believe in, achieving a desired reaction from various popular audiences.
Joe Scarborough in March:
Start your tape right now because I’m about to tell you the truth. And f*** you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever. Not a close second...If it weren’t the truth, I wouldn’t say it.

It seems that Biden was trying to force himself on US politics and we rather call Trump a much bigger mouth for himself.
Biden knows well that he isn't fit to serve America anymore but he doesn't want to leave. Four years ago, Trump did the same thing in different situations and he was treated as a threat to peace! Double standards!

Jill wants to remain First Lady
Once they leave the White House the gravy train is over. No million dollar speeches for either once they leave for good

I don't know about that last part. Those payoffs aren't for the current recipient, they're to make sure future politicians play ball. It might even be a stronger signal if they do pay Biden big money for speeches.
Scott Adams referred to them as pre-bribes.

He was never trying to serve America, so I doubt he's given any thought to whether he's fit to do so. He's still capable of enriching his family with his position, so he's trying to hold onto it.

If, only if he gets re-elected by chance, his carcass would also demand a third term. It wouldn't even give a thought that a third term isn't really possible by constitution.

1972 he was first elected to US Senate

As the saying goes, Washington is the city for ugly actors who couldn't make it in Hollywood. At least Ronald Reagan was a real actor
reply
I'm not sure how many actors are sociopaths, but that helps in politics quite a bit.

I think right now his health and current state is a perfect image of where things are in the U.S. right now. Things are broken, stuttering, confusing and sick.

I agree. It's not a coincidence that there are no viable replacements for Biden. It should be bigger news that there's not one popular person in the entirety of the ruling party.
reply
The most logical successor is Kamala Harris because she is VP. Gavin Newsom and Gretchen Whitmer can’t run on a Harris ticket.
Double California or female ticket is not viable
reply
The idea, which would have to happen soon, is that they cut a deal with Kamala to keep her from running.
She would say something about how in Biden's current state her current duties require her full attention. It might be that they force Biden out of office, so that Kamala gets to be the first woman president.

I couldnt believe how many times he stumbled and backtracked from what he was saying. It was very bad.

It's pretty interesting that so many people had that reaction. Many of us, who probably pay too much attention to this stuff, saw exactly what we expected.
I guess that means the regime had been doing a good job covering up his condition.

I thought he was senile 4 years ago

If he wins these elections, he will reach the end of his term in a vegetative state.
reply
Isnt he pulling out? I thought there was an article discussing that?
reply
Biden is pulling out? Can you share this article?
reply
The corporate press is full of articles about it, but so far Biden is insisting that he's not dropping out.
reply
Yes, I've been reading some, I don't think he's going to drop out at this point...
Its gotten a lot worse. I remember his last debate, at least he could comment back.
