Taking a look at all presidents’ ages at the time of their inauguration since 1789, no clear trend is visible. Before Trump and Biden, presidents’ ages were actually well below average. Barack Obama took office at 47 years and 169 days, according to Potus.com, making him the fifth youngest president at the time of inauguration. Bill Clinton, who was 46 when he took over, was the third youngest - only John F. Kennedy (43) and Teddy Roosevelt (42) were younger.

American presidents have varied in age at the time of taking office, but most have been in their 50s when inaugurated. Here are some key facts about the ages of U.S. presidents:
It's worth noting that life expectancy in the United States has increased considerably over time, which may influence the age at which recent presidents have taken office compared to earlier periods in American history[5].

Most Presidents were under 60 by Inauguration Day.
In 1935, life expectancy was 65 years.
Franklin D. Roosevelt died on April 12, 1945, at the age of 63. He passed away in Warm Springs, Georgia, where he had gone to rest at his retreat. He was 51 years on his Inauguration Day in 1933.
Jimmy Carter is still alive, he is 99 years, his birthday is October 1.
He was 52 years on Inauguration day in 1976.
Maybe it is time to have a younger guy or girl in office.
Someone that is with the times?
I agree that it should be a woman. The US has never had a woman president.
That sounds interesting, I'd love to see how a woman does it.
I think it should be the most capable, not just a woman.
In your country, how would you grade the female president or prime minister?
Portugal's only female prime minister only governed for 5 months and it was during a turbulent period, right after the fall of the dictatorship. You can't draw too many conclusions.
Success requires skill and luck
I disagree, I want to have NO president
2028
Election Day is 4 months away
Lol less chance of getting shoot
How curious that analysis! Will young people not have access to high positions?
One of the things I don't like about having older presidents is they often don't live long to see the consequences of the decisions that they have made. They can make the worst decisions, live another couple years - and not see the poison/fruits of their actions.
I think that a president should be a mature man of 40 years or older, and not as advanced in years as 75 or 80! who can no longer move or think clearly! I also believe that people should choose someone strong to represent the nation, a true patriotic warrior as was done in ancient times, today the leader of a nation ends up being anyone and that then leads us to chaos.
