Most of the stackers like the cowboy hat, and we want to keep it, it is not known why, but we want to keep it "on", I was thinking that it would be a good idea (or not) depending on the community's opinion, that the hat would be more difficult to get and keep each month, that is, to get or keep it you have to spend 100 or more each day, I was thinking that each month or every so often this spending threshold would have to go up to keep it, 100-150-200-300 or more, what do you think about this? I'm sure stackers have already discussed this on some other occasion.

I don’t mind spending more to maintain my cowboy hat. And it would be nice to get a greater cut of the Daily Rewards at various significant milestones (21st, 69th, 100th, 200th, etc) haha

I think the people that make it on the top 30 daily rewards usually spend quite a bit in fees and zaps.

I don’t think it fulfills any purpose other than feeding my ego. A not-so-subtle divide between the Haves and the Have nots. And I’m on the right side! Haha

Cost of maintaining the hat should go up by 10 sats per day for every day of the streak.

My hat streak is 227 days so that would cost 2360 sats to maintain.
If you got to 500 days it would be 5090 sats per day.
Maybe at some point you reach some legendary status and get to keep your hat permanently.

Also when you reach certain days it would be good if the counter stopped rising, I think that would be optimal.

i ve days , i m not able to connect to SN cause i m out or do not have any network connection.
So for me it should more weekly than daily

It's been brought up fairly often. At this point, I'm not sure if it serves any real purpose any more. Some have even argued that it never did to begin with.
I'm leaning towards it being more FOMO than anything else. I still try to keep mine, but I can't remember when last I took any notice of anybody else's hat.

Maybe they should make it a weekly thing instead, with a higher limit.
Would give a bit of leeway in case a stacker doesnt come on one day on accident.

It's also a good idea, I think it's too easy to get and maintain, so if you spend more it also favors SN in general, but it should be something progressive IMO.
