My two sats: Being a while I don't write about Bitcoin, watching patiently where all the ecosystem is going...
As I hinted in my article #226279 (Are Spot ETFs a threat to Bitcoin Long Term?) back in August last year; Blackrock, Ark Investments, Fidelity, etc... all of them are playing the game, doing what they do best, profiting from a great asset like Bitcoin, but that implies a lot of maneuvers which are harmful for new innocent investors...
My bias currently is bullish on price action bearish on the Bitcoin Ethos of p2p cash.
On the price action, the obstacle race seems to be ending, Mt Gox creditors dumping BTC, IMO, is the last big one and BTC just started the bounce from that FUD, the market should eat up that dip this month and continue its path to new ATH.
I only can hope that, as I wrote in the ETF article, the financial institutions don't take over development and miners, influencing and buying their way into the decision making, not only to stall the development, but to steer it into a direction that could take BTC further away from Satoshi's vision. Why will they do that? The obvious answer will be more profits, adding more regulation, restrictions and centralization (POS?) will be taken by large investors as bullish since it will give them the idea of more control, similar to their usual FIAT world. Who could be affected? Everyone in the ecosystem that supports Satoshi's vision and care much less about green candles, those who want to transact with privacy and p2p without a middle man and appreciate self custody...
What are your thoughts?
Are we out of the woods already?
Where you guys think Bitcoin privacy is going?
Does Ark protocol (check my article, needs a follow up) looks promising to you?
I wrote about bitcoin becoming a tradfi asset a few weeks ago. #572905
In terms of where price will go. I assume up over the next 6 months but in the short term who knows. One thing I know is every day my stack goes up only.
reply
That's the good strategy, my stack is rising every day too, the price doesn't matter to me.
reply
Yep, good times to stack more sats
