Smaller and more productive workforce in agriculture
USA:
In 1776, 95% of the workforce was in agriculture
By 1976, that number was 5%
Today the number is less than 2%
Yes, it should be. The dependency on Agriculture in India is too much! However, I don't see it happening here. The size of farms is so less here.
