pull down to refresh

I stopped running a node and forced close channel in LND in start9 about three months ago. A forced close channel takes 2 weeks so I turned off my node and leave it there.
Recently I run again my LND in start9 and got this issue: '2024-07-09T09:02:56+07:00 2024-07-09 02:02:56.630 [ERR] RPCS: unable to populate arbitrator force close resp, unable to find arbitrator 2024-07-09T09:02:56+07:00 2024-07-09 02:02:56.630 [ERR] RPCS: [/lnrpc.Lightning/PendingChannels]: unable to find arbitrator'
Anyone have an idea on how to deal with this and recover the fund?
After the channel close is confirmed you can use the seed backup to restore the node into a fresh LND install. Not in strt9 just install LND directly on a node so you can use commands and restore the seed.
Not sure if you can access lncli from start9. I know you can exit the gui menu and use commands from a raspiblitz if you still want to use some kind of pre roll node.
Anyway the point is to learn the commands:

I check the forced close transaction and it is confirmed, my output not spent. I guess that using backup seeds alone may help to recover fund, I don't know how to get the channel backup file from LND start9 yet.

I asked a friend who knows more about it than me. He said to recommend that you look into chantools, which may help? https://github.com/lightninglabs/chantools

chantools is pretty useful indeed. But it's not plug-and-play, you need to know what you're doing...

Thanks, I'll look into it.

I had problems when I shut down a LND node a while back. It was over my head technically difficult, but I also heard about chantools before I gave up on trying to figure it out. I ended up enlisting help from a trusted bitcoiner / node operator; Semisol. Semisol is usually on Nostr.
You can find him as npub12262qa4uhw7u8gdwlgmntqtv7aye8vdcmvszkqwgs0zchel6mz7s6cgrkj. He's trustworthy enough to help with lost sats, from my experience. Not sure if he has the time to hunt down more lost sats, but it's worth a shot to ask him.
I'm 99.99% sure he used chantools somehow to recover my stuck sats.

Great, I will contact him

Update: I got a new node and synced a full Bitcoin node and then I recovered the LND from the backup files of start9 (emergency mode recovery), waited for a few hours for LND to sync and the forced close fund showed up.
