Its kinda rare for Apple to be to early. Maybe that isn't it. I've only used Meta's. I'm too old for this stuff though. No desire to use it.

I just hope they don’t discontinue it. Meta needs competition.

I wonder how much the AI stuff competes with VR. It’s probably only registering subconsciously if at all right now, but I can imagine some people concluding AGI will make the real world so malleable and cheaply that we don’t need a virtual world.
