Big match ahead. England was one of the favourites to be playing this match, right from the beginning. However, just a few considered Spain as one of the possible finalists. I must be honest: me neither. I thought we could go through up to QFs, then play against Germany and come back home as almost every time we go to a major tournament.

Perhaps, I wasn´t too confident on these youngsters, Lamine and Nico. I think that Pedri´s injury made Olmo to take bigger responsibility. Leading the squad against Germany and scoring the second goal against France. But I would probably be unfair to not mention Rodri and Fabian, not as bright but efficient. Morata, even though he has just scored once, have been doing a dark job against the defense of different rivals. Cucurella, Carvajal and Navas have been helping not only in defense but attacking too. Some replacements, as Merino and Oyarzabal, have also helped to raise the bar when matches are getting closer to the end.

England performed well against the Netherlands. First half had a high pace and England showed what they can do. Bellingham, Foden, Kane, Saka were attacking from the beginning. Exactly, what you would expect from this team. On the second half, they gave a step back and the Netherlands could win the watch. But Watkins decided the match at the end with a very late goal.

If there is still a draw after the second tiebreaker, I will consider the third one. If, after applying all tiebreakers, there is still a draw, I will split the bounty between the winners.
