Over the past couple of months, I have enjoyed using ZBD and THNDR Games to play some games when I have free time, and earn a few satoshis here and there. I don't ever play the games to earn satoshis, rather it is a nice perk (maybe I've earned 500 sats total on Thndr games and 5,000 on ZBD).
I understand these games can pay out sats primarily from ad revenue and in-app purchases. The games are a fun way to pass a couple of minutes and have nice lightning implementations as well!
I was curious on efforts for sats to be integrated into the more mainstream titles (Fornite, Call of Duty, Forza, Halo, Mario, etc). Phone games are fun, but a console/PC experience could have a much broader reach. I understand these are closed ecosystems and it wouldn't necessarily make sense for an in-game economy to move from their shitcoin currency (Shark Cards, vbucks, Cod Points, etc) to a hard money they can't debase like Bitcoin. I was wondering if any mainstream games have aims to implement sats in the future? As a console gamer, this would be incredible!
I also think that something like player lounge (https://www.playerslounge.com/) with sats would be nice. @HYPERBITCOINZATION . There are tens of thousands of people who would love to play games and earn sats through traditional avenues or betting avenues. Just some thoughts here, and generally speaking - it would be nice to see more console & PC games have lightning/sat implementations! What are your thoughts? Will we see more sats in console/PC games soon?
