I agree with a lot of this. I believe schooling in the UK is deliberately designed to give children a very narrow range of education and is largely indoctrination. I realised that we have a responsibility as parents to educate our kids, give them as wide a range of experiences as possible and help them to become free thinkers who are able to deal effectively with the adversity that life will inevitably put in their path .
