As a Knick fan I hated that Phil Jackson made this pick. I’m like who the heck is this buster he is sure to be a bust. Welp it’s 2024 and Porzingus is an NBA champion while the Knicks lost to an over achieving Pacers team. Now Porzingus is no hall of famer but turned out to be way better than I had projected

I feel like you were at least partially correct on this one. Porzingus has never lived up to the initial hype even though he has become a good player. So not a bust like you expected but certainly not a superstar.

There are many ways to have been wrong about Porzingus. It would be more surprising to have been right about him.

Yeah that is true but lottery picks you are at least hoping they become all-stars but I was think he was going to be Darko level bust. Like out the league after 3 miserable seasons
