It’s a testament that always brings joy when you sign high profile players in the off season but then when you look over the last decade and beyond, you realize that that money didn’t get us anything but disappointment. Just look at the Yankees, Redsox and Dodgers all these years. Now, teams like mine (padres) yours (Mets) and many other have fallen into the trap. SMH
