Copyleft licenses are probably more often broken than held
it’s important to fight to get them to release the source code under the GPL.
We can win and get the source code released, which leads to great hacking projects, leading to new open source products for you and me. The linksys wrt case in 2003 is a great example: https://thenewstack.io/the-open-source-lesson-of-the-linksys-wrt54g-router/
