Believe me this happens all over the globe, there's no country teaching much about financial literacy in schools. And isn't the fault of the teachers either, as I assume you have been given some protocol and curriculum to follow and not sure whether you are allowed to trespass the directions received.

I personally don't rely on public schools, and it will be nice to find around professional teachers that are willing to teach specific or personalized topics based on their experience and learnings.

Most of the school teachers here don't know anything about finance either. You can't teach what you don't know. And anyone who knows about finance usually has better options than being a teacher.

This isn't to just hate on teachers by the way. I personally think one of the most important things America needs to do is make teaching a respectable and desirable profession
