It's definitely great to have a plan B. Plan C it's running... now building plan A ;)

I think it is nice to have a way to account for energy exchange. And I feel like Bitcoin fills that roll and allows us to trade with an abundance mindset. It gives us incentive to be cooperative vs. competitive. It's a higher vibration of "money" in my view. 

We did not create the idea itself, you right, we discovered and adopted as a result of a need, more than anything else. The need to peacefully exchange goods and services in a scarcity mentality.

Let's be honest, money nowadays is a not only lucrative but much corrosive usury business that incentivizes violence and war, even between people in the private.
