Howdy Stackers! What's up! It's Olympics after 4 years and with that back is the love for all sports! We generally talk a lot about one or two very popular sports all the time, don't we? But, I view that every sport is important as they all have one aim and that's 'Keeping the whole world closer and Together'. All of you may agree that apart from Bitcoin our ~Stackers_sports bind us close to each other and I feel so blessed that I could personally feel it with the cricket pool last month!
So, tighten your seat belt folks, I hereby announce An All Sports Olympics Pool! A pool where predictions will determine who among us win the Gold 🥇, the Silver 🥈, the Bronze 🥉!
About The Pool (Rules)

The pool is prediction based. Any stacker can join the pool for free before the Opening Ceremony. You can also join after it but only after zapping a 10% of total pool prize at the time of asking to join the pool.

All participating Stackers will only require to predict the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners for every sports/Event.

The Stacker who has the most number of correct predictions (Total Points) will win a Gold 🥇, (50% of the pool amount), the Stackers who is 2nd best will win a Silver 🥈 (30% of the pool amount), and the third best will get a bronze 🥉 (20% of the pool amount).

Each correct prediction is valued in points in the following manner Correct prediction for Gold = 3 points Correct prediction for Silver = 2 points Correct prediction for Bronze = 1 point

In case of a tie the prize pool for the spot is divided on the number of most correct predictions in order of Gold, Silver and Bronze. To make it more clear — if any two stackers are tied at 100 correct predictions in the end, the Stacker who has better predictions for Gold will win. If again tied, the better predictions for silver will rule. If this is also tied, the better predictions for Bronze will be decided. In case a three medal predictions get tied (assuming it won't be), the prize will be equally divided.

The prize pool will be made up of all the sats zapped on upcoming 'Pick Your Gold/Silver/Bronze 🥇🥈🥉 posts including the sats coming in rebuys.

Important In case you miss to predict in 3 Sports/events, you will be eliminated.

Rebuying After your elimination, you can buy in the pool (only before the last 3 events remain) by zapping 10% total prize pool at the time of rebuying.

I've tried to be simpler in rules for this time. For the record, I'll be maintaining a spreadsheet which I'll post with every 'Pick Your Gold/Silver/Bronze 🥇🥈🥉 posts.

For this time in Paris, Olympics is hosting 42 sports in total which you can find here.
https://olympics.com/en/sports/summer-olympics#paris-2024. Some of these sports have different events. For example, Badminton and Tennis have 5 events each. A different post for every sport/event will come in time and you need to make your predictions on that page for the Sports/event.
In case, there's some missing information or you wanna suggest something for the pool, you're most welcome! Our first prediction pool posts will be out by the evening today and they will be for Football and Rugby. Football and Rugby are the first events to kick off on July 24. So, hardly 24 hours remain!
At last, I just wanna request to all of you to zap âš¡ the pool generously and make it the biggest of all pools much like the Olympics. Kindly, don't think it from the perspective of knowledge about any sports, it's just prediction game. In case you wanna look at the statistics for teams or any players just a few minutes look into this page will provide you so much knowledge to base your predictions upon.
