Two local projects—the North Texas State Hospital in Wichita Falls and the Terrell State Hospital—got the lion’s share of the recently announced $1.5 billion in funding. Another North Texas hospital construction project funded by the state of Texas, the nearly half-billion-dollar Texas Behavioral Health Center at UT Southwestern, is already underway.
