To be clear ... this is comparing the amount of electricity consumed in bitcoin mining with the amount of consumption of energy in all forms (i.e., coal, nuclear, fossil fuels such as gasoline and diesel used in transportation), hydroelectric generation, geothermal, biogas, etc.
