another small excerpt! enjoy :) (note: the blank parantheses () are for pending school names // locations)
My siblings always had some idea of what they wanted to do with their lives, long before I even thought about my own. Each of them has broken down a thought out plan to our parents, and it has kind of become this unspoken tradition before the start of senior year to talk about what we all want to do next.
When Jessamine was talking about her aspirations to be a PA just like Mom, I was in the 4th grade by the time she was graduating from high school. I was in middle school when Aron, Jessamine’s fraternal twin, pursued work as a government contractor shortly after getting his degree in computer engineering from ().
Then there is Justin, the golden goose of the family, as the twins and I like to call him. Valedictorian of his high school class, a participant of all sorts of clubs and volunteer activities inside and outside of school, and of course, is as handsome as our Dad (as Mom always loves to point out). He just got accepted into () for Biology with a path to go into pre-med. Mom and Dad were absolutely ecstatic when he broke the news.
And finally, there is me. Jennalynn: the youngest emo hippie child in this perfect, “no trouble” family who is rebellious in all the ways of the world. A lover of books, a heavy listener of all sorts of Alternative and Punk Rock, and a deep and dire yearn to visit all 7 continents above everything else.
As for The Plan I got so far? It’s nothing monumental in comparison to my siblings. Quite the complete opposite, actually. It’s more like an asian family’s nightmare to even fathom something like this. I mean, world travel? Being a vlogger who talks of traveling the world, and showing it through my own eyes? That’s not a real job. It's just a hobby, and nothing more. In fact, I would probably be advised to let this said hobby die, and never thought of again.
I think you should move forward and clearly make a plan for the future. I also wanted to see the world but until now I haven't been able to do it.

I wonder how much of your story is autobiographical haha.
Does it matter which schools your characters come from? Just wondering
