Well that's sure eye opening. I think that would be great if the Secret Service can do their job. That would be a Titanic event and target for the shitheads.

Good news if true. Bitcoin is for everyone. This will ensure it will not be a polarizing political issue in the US.

Yeah I'm kinda skeptical too. On the other hand, her surest way to victory is to court special interest voters who are alienated by Democrats but don't particularly care for Trump. Even if the greens are angry about her courting Bitcoin, they sure as hell aren't voting for Trump

Given the current administration’s track record I doubt this is anything other than pandering to get votes. To be fair that is probably what Trump is doing too. Though I think there is an ever so slightly smaller chance of this with him.

Trump jumped on the crypto wagon a while ago when he was selling NFT.

Isn't doing things that gets you votes expected in a system where candidates are elected based on votes?

Oh for sure. My point was not to get too excited because I doubt there will actually be follow through on any promises made.

Kamala is more similar to Elizabeth Warren: bitcoin mining causes climate change ergo they need to be taxed 30 percent for electricity consumption

She will have to change her opinion if she wants their support.
You know as well as I that politicians can change their minds at the drop of a hat.

You think both are trying to use the system and will dump them after the election?

Ha! They are politicians. They will say anything. Its how it works. It doesn't even matter if they mean it. Winds change, they change.

She can show up and embarrass herself and her campaign during her first weekend as a candidate
Plus she will be overshadowed by Trump and RFK. I guess how of fairness they had to invite her.
Then again it’s not about fairness. At least Trump and RFK have talked about bitcoin. RFK has bitcoin in his portfolio

Public Goods: These are things everyone can use, like a beautiful sunset or a radio broadcast. When you enjoy them, it doesn’t stop others from doing the same.
Free Rider Problem: People often don’t want to pay for public goods because they’ll benefit anyway. Imagine not paying for a radio program – you can still listen!
Solutions: Entrepreneurs get creative. They mix good things (like the radio program) with less desirable things (like ads) to fund public goods.
Punishment: Sometimes, we need rules. In communities, if everyone shirks their duties (like not hunting), there won’t be enough food. So, punishment encourages cooperation.
Remember, public goods challenge our usual thinking, but we find ways to make them work! 🌟
