Interesting, but the bridge is for driving. For people to get across faster, right? Not just for the port?

When the bridge fell it was categorized as essential to the port and the movement of goods and people... Idk if they truck stuff across it or what but it was pitched to Congress that they needed a new bridge ASAP or the port would die.
