Orange pilled an online friend living in South Africa and suggested he use strike to buy his first sats, but his bank is not working with strike.
What do you use in SA? Robosats? Bisq?

Not in SA, but if Wise works with his bank, you can use Robosats

Also check out Cole, from Southern Bitcoiner, he's a South African bitcoiner who has some good videos on YouTube as well as a website. The comments on his videos may have some good info as well.

Robosats it's pretty good, you car access it on a Tor Browser and you receive over lightning. Also try Bisq.network, an app running on desktop only and only allow to purchase/sell onchain.
In either case, you need to provide a security deposit in both
