But is this even relevant? He's pandering to a demographic. He's not promising any moves in legislation. He's not even denouncing his shitcoin NFT projects.
If nothing happens, why should we care?

I can't blame them. It's a funny situation.
On one hand this man would have the power to bring a Lightning terminal to every Walmart in the US over night. On the other hand he probably doesn't understand what Bitcoin is really about. That is situational humor.
