State law in Tennessee requires all traffic camera citations to print on them, in large-bold letters, “NON-PAYMENT OF THIS VIOLATION CANNOT HAVE A NEGATIVE IMPACT ON YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE, CAR INSURANCE RATES, OR CREDIT REPORT. This means in Tennessee don't pay it. If you get a summons go fight it. They have automatically dropped it when I've shown up. You can also (before the court date) submit an affidavit stating the name and contact for someone you let rent or borrow the vehicle. One might get creative here.
