It is a very good question, but time and the level of development of the technology will tell.

so i've been using the paid version of chat-gpt and their api since v3. they are now on 4o which is pretty decent.

I find myself not doing as much coding lately. Why bother doing all that typing when you can have ai do it in 10 seconds.
