Well, I do feel I get stuff done :P
But going to those conferences are about making new friends, memories, and learning. 

It works great, except when it's only people like us and we never get around to doing anything.

Going with the flow always seems to work. 
Especially meeting new people.

I've definitely shown up to conferences before with no knowledge of the schedule or where to find it. Knowing what's going on can be overrated.
