I've been tinkering about what could be the secret ingredient that makes males attractive to women, and I think that it's not one's physical appearance per se- it's about looking capable.
This is not to say that the genes, and thus, the looks aren't important, but of what use is being handsome if one can't help themselves?
This begs the question, however, of what exactly makes one look capable in a non-verbal way, with of course looking healthy and fit being a clear non-verbal signal that one's capable to some capacity (a sign of having endurance, perseverance, discipline and will), but what other "traits" are there?
I'd like to think that one's clothing and body language (the way one carries themselves) also plays an important role.
What's a way to improve on these two, and what other things can you think of?

Bonus question: What are some recurring "traits" your SO compliments you on?

The best compliment my wife gives me is "your a good dad".

Hm, that compliment jumps a couple stages, though 😜😅

Yeah it doesn't apply to all cases but it is a wonderful compliment.

Physical appearance is very important. You can't change most of the traits that make you attractive, but the obvious important thing you can change is your body composition (more muscle, less fat).
About looking capable... You need to be capable. People know when somebody is just "looking" capable and when he is really capable.

Being 100% genuine, always communicative and having an excellent sense of humor have been my secret weapons to win someone over.

Humor seems to be the Almighty atomic bomb, huh, good thing I have a few of those 😜

Hahaha just trust yourself.

Body language is huge. I used to consider myself less than average attractiveness. Now I am confident and I know who I am and I think I am the sexiest man there is. And I can tell that others know I feel that way.

I often hear that I walk pretty "forceful", like, fast and not timid... I think it's a double-edged sword, as it helps in keeping the crazies at bay, but it also makes me look like you'd better leave me alone... 😅

I have heard something similar for myself. When I am focused I think can come off kind of intense. It can put people off. It's just one mode of mine.
