For me, it's exactly the opposite, it's funnier. Because you don't know how much you're zapping and you don't reveal yourself by the standard zap amount.

This makes sense but takes some of the fun out of it.

I use random zap with a tight interval (16) and not consistently. For example, for those with a standard zap of 50, it could be between 40-60.
