KYC IS THE PROBLEM.
(But surely, at some point, if everyone's Dara is available and AI can fake things, KYC will become untenable...and surely, at some point, politicians and bureaucrats will be reasonable...)
This is why I get so fed up with this KYC thing. We are all doxxed one way or another. Super frustrating

My fiat bank had a breach a few years ago. My data is already up there for sale. All we can do is protect our kids now and teach them early.
EDIT: Even then, the government will leak their data... we are fucked.

This is my feeling.

KYC is the main problem, because it uses original documents, be careful when displaying original documents, so far I'm also fed up when someone asks for KYC.

The honey pots can and will be breached. Act accordingly. No company is capable of keeping YOUR information safe, none.

And yet it's pretty difficult to survive in society without surrendering info. Often, you don't even have a choice.

Math accordingly.

Indeed, KYC is the problem.

KYC is the nefarious act. This is where it begins.

Unbelievable.

In a decentralized system, some people get hacked and scammed. Then, those people lobby the government for centralized protection. Then, the centralized entities get hacked and all data is compromised, but it doesn't feel so personal anymore, so they do not mind.

Executives need jail time. Accountability can't be a function of dollars, it needs to hit their opportunity cost, time and reputation.

The government should issue a revocable GPG key to parents instead of an SSN. Parents are responsible for revoking the key with the publication of a new one. Everyone gets a GPG key, which can be used to sign for authentication. We need to end this joke that an SSN is a secret.

Kyc has already become untenable. This is yet another example!
Those who justify Kyc are working as agents to the hackers and scammers. What's funny that they even don't know it.

How is KYC data still valuable to hackers? Who is going to buy that on the dark net when it's already easily available from many previous leaks? Whose personal data isn't available at this point?
reply
And how is it tenable for businesses to rely on it for much of anything?

No need for KYC garbage. kNOw Your commandments

You might be affected by one of the biggest data breaches ever and not even know it.
A recent class action lawsuit filed against Jerico Pictures Inc., a background check company that does business under the name National Public Data, claims that the company was breached by hackers earlier this year.
As a result, the lawsuit says, confidential data for 2.9 billion was exposed and stolen by a hacker group known as USDoD.

Data leaked or stolen by design until normalized. What is the term for spoofing data? I think we need much more of that.
reply
100 percent if Ai can fake kyc then
reply
The irony that they were the ones that got hacked
