Error connecting Cashu.me to Stacker.news using NWC

I'm getting and error trying to connect Cashu.me to Stacker.News using NWC in the wallets sections. The error I'm getting is EOSE received without info event. Does anyone see this? Cashu.me NWC works for other websites like NoStudel and Habla.
The rest of my logs look like this:

cashu.me has a bug where it never publishes the info event. Created a PR.
Another reason to switch to test payments as described in this ticket.

Thanks @ek! I really appreciate the follow up. I am trying to use NWC because I think it is a very convenient way to connect my spending sats to my Cashu mint. Although, Cashu.me is pretty much the only software I know of which supports it right now.
Hopefully there will be more cashu wallet support for NWC in the future.
