Just went for a literacy lecture by this distinguished professor. The thing that caught my attention the most was when she said vocabulary is the cryptocurrency of knowledge.
As a proud, self-respecting Bitcoiner, would these words ruffle your feathers because why mention crypto when you can use Bitcoin instead? Or would you let it roll off your psyche - like water down a duck’s back - inwardly shaking your head at how she’s still living in the Fiat-induced Matrix?
How would you feel?
Maybe she is trying to use a vocabulary that is more in our time period than in hers?

Why dont you go up to her and talk to her? Or did she not take any questions afterwards?
Academics in the field of education tend to just string a bunch of buzzwords together and not really know what they're talking about, so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
