Modi's visit to Ukraine is very important for it has come after he visited Poland. Also, zelensky had criticised Modi for hugging Putin in his visit to Russia. Even after recieving criticism, Modi has shown a big heart for Ukraine by becoming the first ever Indian PM to visit Ukraine.

I think Modi might have told Zelensky that US is using them for its own benefit and he should stop this war for it won't do any good for Ukraine. Modi might have carried a message by Putin as well. Let's see where it reaches! Zelensky should leave being a clown here.
