SimpleX is not decentralised like Tox.

Anyone can run their own SimpleX server so it is about as decentralized as Nostr. With p2p systems you have to be careful about leaking your ip to the people you are chatting with. SimpleX uses a multi-hop approach similar to Tor to prevent this.
