Since around 2009 I spent a lot of energy in networking the hybrid way, both on the ground and online using Linkedin for the most part.
I recruited people and built a handful of teams what included the open source community one way or other, and some of these became tiny agencies, as well as one local branch of a well known company in the open source space.
2020 of course changed everything, and I basically walked away from it all. Now its time to finally do a "raid" into the Digital Gulags, and for that Nostr is key!
One of the things that put a halt on my weird career was of course the censorship and cancellations that ramped up hard, not only would it be insane to rebuild in an environment like that, it would also drain too much personal resources.
To use an analogy that went down very well in Nepal: no one in their right mind would rebuild their house when the earthquake is still going on...
Another analogy is to make sure you have a foundation that will last when you build your house, and for anything I'll build from now on that is of course Nostr!
In the social game Nostr is also a card to play. Since I'm sooo done with the totalitarian woke, both personally and in terms of building any business, Nostr will be the natural "test" for my old network as well as any new contacts I get.
Its not so easy to test people on anything from Bitcoin via a statist or even technocratic, fascist mindset to medical freedom. Also so many will try to drag you into something woke, insane scam, I simply won't have any interactions like this.
But uncensorable communications? Supporting tech where no one can be permanently silenced, that also is resilient on its own? Tech that totally is destined to change the internet as much as Bitcoin or any other tech has done thus far?
So this will be my strategy, I will sort out contacts according to how they react when I get into Nostr ;-)
There are a myriad of options from there on, and using Nostr as my talking point I expect to figure out a lot of tactics and more detailed points to make it even more effective.
I look forward to this, its fun playing around with strong talking points!
