She has a workhorse-like ethics when it comes to this.
She's worth her weight in gold, well done sensei.
As for me, I want to make it as a freelance writer.
I know personally a dude who's making a nice extra on Nostr almost just out of twitting. Your content being more developed would do better I'm sure. What keeps you away from Nostr? Your notes on kanjis would be very, very well received there I'm sure, I strongly advice you to try that.
How about you? What keeps you going?
Living in economic and political crisis my entire life (and counting) did help me to get my priorities straight and without question: I just want to make it. Get enough money to live, doing literally whatever that's not illegal. Then, once having the money, gradually proceed to fuel my other passions.
So, I don't seek for my passions to be the source of the money themselves, I see it the other way around: just getting to the point in which you have a work that you don't hate (not that "you love", just "don't hate"), which leaves you enough money and time to do other things you love up to a minimally fulfilling degree, is absolute perfection to me.
Having a full and high level engineering background, the first job I was able to get here in Argentina was to clean floors at a factory. It took me 6 months of relentless, distressing and endless searching just to be able land that job. It was so difficult, so protracted, that when I got it I just felt happy, like if a spell had finally been broken.
My dream was to be on the engineering department, yet now I was outside of it cleaning the floors. At that point I didn't care anymore, I just happily took the broom and made my best. Shifts where of 12hs, from Monday to Monday. No off days. With that on my portfolio I was able to land my next job as an assistant of the design engineer, this time on the engineering office, because I was able to demonstrate that I had both the engineering knowledge and the work ethics and endurance. Shifts where better: 10-11hs, from Monday to Saturday. With that I was able to land the next job as a design engineer myself. Shifts where better than ever: 9hs, from Monday to Friday. Started to get the money and the time to do other things. Then the crisis started to worsen and conditions deteriorated, and I had to start to devote more to the political struggle rather than work. 4 years later I'm starting over back again, and back again my priorities are: first, make it, second, try to make it with something you don't hate, third, try to get enough money and time from it to do whatever you do love = perfection.

Thank you buddy :) Believe me, we are all alike. I learned from the experiences of others all along, would have done a lot worse otherwise. Making other people's experiences your own, which feels like having lived many lives, is a powerful ability.
