When I have stale bread, I often use it to make a bread salad.
The base is croutons of stale bread and then there are no limits to your imagination.
In this salad there was also
- Onions stewed in balsamic vinegar
- Spring onions (raw)
- Cherry tomatoes
- Eggplants and sweetcorn (fried, lukewarm)
- Pine nuts
- Finely sliced cheese
- Basil
