I never really worked in the corporate fiat mines, did a stint in late 98 for the veeery dangerous y2k bug, never looked back haha!

On and off I have worked for fiat of course, but often in independent roles within systems like that. Most of my time has been in small business environments, which might be different.

Makes me wonder how different these things might be in smaller, informal teams? Especially where everyone or most have a real stake in the outcome... I did create some environments like that, but in retrospect I realize that the underlying safety net of a socialist or worse state was at least a factor in sabotaging this...

These days with Bitcoin hopefully things can be very different!
