I think at this point we have all heard of the tragic school shooting that took place in Apalachee High School.
In Case you havent..: A14 year-old named Colt Gray used an assault rifle to kill 4 people; two fellow students(1 of them had autism which is just sad to think about) and two teachers. He also injured 9 people
According to interviews and stuff he was known ton be a quiet kid and some of his neighbours didnt even know that he lived next door. He was apprehended by the FBI last year because he had said some stuff related to shooting up a school on discord. The FBI had a talk with him and his father(His father's name is Colin Gray). so...Colt denied having ever made the posts and his father promised them(that is the FBI) that his son never had any access to his personal guns
Now fast forward to a year later and this happenED
Some people say the FBI is to blame for knowing about the matter but not taking adequate actions. Some say that it's his dad's fault for not doing a good job at stoppinG his son from getting access to his firearms(ITS EVEN BEING INVESTIGATED IF HE BOUGHT THE ASSAULT RIFLE AS A GIFT FOR HIS SON) (his dad has also been arrested and charged for second degree murder). Or if it's just Colt Gray's own fault because he is responsible for his own actions
Sooo what do we think :)

Blame isn't necessarily a zero sum thing.
Colt is responsible for having shot and killed those people. Fourteen is old enough to understand the consequences of shooting people.
His dad seems to be guilty of not safely securing his deadly weapons, as well as likely being negligent wrt to his troubled son.
We need more details on the FBI's involvement to know if they have any culpability. Separate from culpability, though, is the question of effectiveness, since it seems like these shooters always turn out to have been on the FBI's radar.
