Very nice review. One thing to consider is that God is in charge of everything as I think you've alluded to. The difference is that men are either devotees or they are demons. The independent aspect is the test. If men act with the intention of serving God then they are without fault. If men act with the intention of serving the material world then they are going to move spiritually further and further away from God.

This Kali Yuga that started 5000 years ago will eventually be served by men that live no longer than 20 years and they will engage in every abominable activity that leads to an animal life.

It's already started. Look at the movement to be carnivores. It's a clown movement. Totally usurping the Thou Shalt Not Kill with nonsense based on some fantasy of a life of hunting and gathering.

Human civilization in our current form is well over 50,000 years (Two great years) and we have knowledge of the Vedas going back to before the beginning of the Kali Yuga which is also known as the Age of Quarrel.

Only in serving God can liberation come. The Bhakti Yoga practice is the recommended prescription where men can find liberation in remembering God. Otherwise there will be the old religion of materialists and impersonalists who strive to keep men ignorant and in servitude of the goddess Kali, Maya and Satan.

So much artificial nonsense against the knowledge passed down over thousands of years has been obfuscated, lost, redefined and corrupted.
